Craig and Jan…the Joneses…us…we live and work together in San Diego. We are dogscapes! Craig is the photographer and has been taking pictures, starting with film, for as long as he can remember. Photography has been a passion for him, as an artist, creator, observer, as well as his appreciation of fine art in many forms.
Craig shoots all digital now and uses Nikon and Canon equipment. He primarily photographs dogs out of his incredible connection with animals as loving, free spirits. Craig has also done extensive work in children’s photography and continues to do that when opportunities arise.
Jan is the office person, manning the website/blog, keeping track of paperwork stuff, and helping clients with their photo sessions. Jan is a former elementary school teacher and university instructor, so working with all ages is a natural for her.
As a blended family, we have four kids, two grandchildren and two incredible shelter dogs. Some of our kids are living close by and two live further away than a quick trip. We try to spend time with all of them and travel as much as we can. Our dogs, Jessie and Dash, are both terrier mixes and are as much alike as they are different. Jessie is three and Dash is one and the dog park is their favorite place to go.
We do sessions as we travel to various areas in the country and love to meet dogs and owners wherever we go. You can find more info at the website www.dogscapes.com. Use the contact page there if you have any questions for us. Please send us an email if you’d like to know when we will be in your area
Thanks for stopping by. We hope you enjoy the blog as much as we enjoy blogging!
